General Terms of Car Rental at My Rent Car

Drivers aged between 21 and 70 years old can rent cars.

The following documents are required for car rental: The client must have a valid driver's license held for at least 3 years (3 years of driving experience). Valid identification card or passport.

The minimum rental period is 1 day.

The daily rental price includes 225 km mileage. If this limit is exceeded, we will charge you 23.40 RSD/km (0.2 EUR/km).

Traffic Violation Fines

The user is obliged to pay all parking fines, municipal fines, administrative violations, and traffic violations issued during the car rental period.

Payment Method and Deposit

Payment can be made by credit/debit card on our website or at our office, via bank transfer, or in cash when receiving the vehicle.

A deposit is mandatory and can be paid either in cash or by card pre-authorization.

Car Reservation

You can pay a car reservation fee of 50 Euros, thereby reserving a specific car for specific trip dates. The reservation amount will be deducted from the total rental cost.

If you cancel your reserved car at least three days before pickup, the prepayment (reservation) will be fully refunded.

If you cancel the rental of a reserved car less than 72 hours before the scheduled trip time, the prepayment will not be refunded.

Damage

In case of damage or loss of the rented car or its parts, as well as in case of fire, broken glass, or lost keys, the responsibility lies with the Renter or another authorized person specified in the contract.

According to the legislation of the Republic of Serbia, the rented car is insured against third-party damage.

INSURANCE

Our cars are insured with CASCO insurance. In case of an insurance claim, the Client must:

1. Cover the insurance company's deductible = 200-250 Euros from the deposited amount to open the claim (for damage assessment).

2. Have a police report about the damage to the car.
   *The condition for the insurance company to pay the full amount of damage (intentional and accidental damage of any origin, accident, theft, partial or total loss of the car) is the documentation of the incident in the form of a police report.

The plastic vehicle registration card must be carried with you and not left in the car. In case the car is stolen along with the registration card, the CASCO insurance policy becomes void!

Fees

The Renter pays for fuel.

We provide one free child seat or booster, as well as snow chains (in winter). An additional child seat or booster can be rented for an extra fee of 500 RSD.

An additional driver can be added to the contract for free!

Vehicle Pickup/Delivery Fee

At our company, vehicle pickup/drop-off outside working hours and on holidays is available by arrangement at no additional cost. Car delivery to the Client's address is charged at taxi rates. Delivery/pickup at Belgrade Airport costs +60 Euros.

  Working hours: Daily from 11:00 to 14:00; Sunday - day off.

Procedure in Case of Accident, Damage, or Car Theft

The Client must act as follows:

1. Immediately inform the police and My Rent Car about the incident and follow their instructions.

2. Record details about other participants and the accident itself.

3. Complete an accident/damage report when returning the car.

4. Write a brief accident statement describing the causes and circumstances of the incident.

In case of an accident involving a My Rent Car vehicle, the deposit will be held until the police report is submitted and the damage assessment is completed.

Driving Restrictions

It is prohibited to drive the car under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication. In such cases, the insurance is void, and the client will be charged the full amount of damage/theft as assessed by an authorized person.

Only the person registered as the driver or additional driver in the My Rent Car rental agreement may operate the rented vehicle.

It is forbidden to transfer the rented car to third parties, i.e., persons not registered in the rental agreement. In such cases, if damage occurs to the car, the insurance is void, and the client specified in the contract as the driver will be charged the full amount of damage or theft.

Other

When making a car reservation, you are reserving a specific car. If anything happens to it by the time of pickup, we will provide you with an equivalent replacement or a higher-class car from our fleet.
